Spent six hours at the court today, and was selected for jury duty.  Quote, "You're not supposed to campaign for it, but I totally did.  It was a competition for me."  Apparently on the form it says accepted or rejected, he peeked and saw that he was accepted and felt like he "won the game", he did win.  They chose 2/100 people, that's my baby, 1 in 50.

He is:
So elated to be taking an active part in the judicial system.
So confused at why people are so bugged when they have to do it.
So charming during his interview with the lawyers so that they would pick him.

It's official, he's a patriot.

Been sick since Saturday.  Ended up in the Urgent Care Center tonight and has a kidney infection.  Right kidney to be exact.  Dang.

Ate kettle corn popcorn and ice cream for dinner tonight.  Haagan Dazs Vanilla Swiss Almond always gets me through the hard times. After a week of toast and applesauce, it felt so good.  Watched OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network, thumbs up) and is looking forward to a lazy day in bed tomorrow.

She is:
Annoyed.
Feverish.
So ready to quit with the illnesses.
